Settings & Configuration Guide
Learn how to configure your business settings, manage users, and customize Booba.
Business Information
Update your business details that appear on receipts and reports.
- 1. Go to Settings → Business Information
- 2. Update business name, address, and contact details
- 3. Upload or change business logo
- 4. Set tax information (VAT, etc.)
- 5. Save changes
User Management
Inviting Users
- 1. Go to Settings → Users
- 2. Click "Invite User"
- 3. Enter user's email address
- 4. Select user role (Admin, Manager, Staff, etc.)
- 5. User receives invitation email
- 6. They set password and can start using the system
User Roles
- • Admin: Full access to all features
- • Manager: Can manage sales, inventory, and reports
- • Staff: Can process sales and view limited reports
- • Cashier: Can only process sales
Payment Methods
Configure which payment methods are available at POS.
- 1. Go to Settings → Payment Methods
- 2. Enable or disable payment methods:
- • Cash
- • Card
- • Transfer
- • On Account
- 3. Set default payment method
- 4. Save changes
Tax Configuration
- 1. Go to Settings → Tax Settings
- 2. Enable tax calculation
- 3. Set tax rate (e.g., 7.5% VAT)
- 4. Choose if tax is included or excluded in prices
- 5. Apply to all products or specific categories
- 6. Save changes
Location Management
Manage multiple business locations or warehouses.
- 1. Go to Settings → Locations
- 2. Click "Add Location"
- 3. Enter location name and address
- 4. Set as default location (optional)
- 5. Assign users to locations
- 6. Save location
