Learn how to configure your business settings, manage users, and customize Booba.

Business Information

Update your business details that appear on receipts and reports.

  1. 1. Go to Settings → Business Information
  2. 2. Update business name, address, and contact details
  3. 3. Upload or change business logo
  4. 4. Set tax information (VAT, etc.)
  5. 5. Save changes

User Management

Inviting Users

  1. 1. Go to Settings → Users
  2. 2. Click "Invite User"
  3. 3. Enter user's email address
  4. 4. Select user role (Admin, Manager, Staff, etc.)
  5. 5. User receives invitation email
  6. 6. They set password and can start using the system

User Roles

  • Admin: Full access to all features
  • Manager: Can manage sales, inventory, and reports
  • Staff: Can process sales and view limited reports
  • Cashier: Can only process sales

Payment Methods

Configure which payment methods are available at POS.

  1. 1. Go to Settings → Payment Methods
  2. 2. Enable or disable payment methods:
    • • Cash
    • • Card
    • • Transfer
    • • On Account
  3. 3. Set default payment method
  4. 4. Save changes

Tax Configuration

  1. 1. Go to Settings → Tax Settings
  2. 2. Enable tax calculation
  3. 3. Set tax rate (e.g., 7.5% VAT)
  4. 4. Choose if tax is included or excluded in prices
  5. 5. Apply to all products or specific categories
  6. 6. Save changes

Location Management

Manage multiple business locations or warehouses.

  1. 1. Go to Settings → Locations
  2. 2. Click "Add Location"
  3. 3. Enter location name and address
  4. 4. Set as default location (optional)
  5. 5. Assign users to locations
  6. 6. Save location
