Learn how to track stock levels, manage suppliers, and handle inventory operations.
Stock Management
Viewing Stock Levels
- 1. Go to Inventory → Stock Levels
- 2. View all products with current stock quantities
- 3. Use filters to find specific products
- 4. Click on a product to view detailed stock history
Low Stock Alerts
The system automatically alerts you when stock is running low:
- • Products below minimum stock level are highlighted in red
- • You'll see alerts in the dashboard
- • Set minimum stock levels in product settings
Purchase Orders
Creating a Purchase Order
- 1. Go to Inventory → Purchase Orders
- 2. Click "Create Purchase Order"
- 3. Select supplier (or create new)
- 4. Add products and quantities
- 5. Set expected delivery date
- 6. Add notes (optional)
- 7. Submit for approval (if required) or save as draft
Receiving Stock
- 1. When stock arrives, go to the Purchase Order
- 2. Click "Receive Stock"
- 3. Enter quantities received for each item
- 4. Update stock levels automatically
- 5. Mark purchase order as completed
Stock Transfers
Transfer stock between locations or warehouses.
- 1. Go to Inventory → Stock Transfers
- 2. Click "Create Transfer"
- 3. Select source location
- 4. Select destination location
- 5. Add products and quantities to transfer
- 6. Add transfer reason (optional)
- 7. Submit transfer
- 8. Stock is automatically updated at both locations
Stock Adjustments
Adjust stock levels for discrepancies, damages, or corrections.
- 1. Go to Inventory → Stock Levels
- 2. Find the product you want to adjust
- 3. Click "Adjust Stock"
- 4. Enter new quantity or adjustment amount
- 5. Select adjustment reason
- 6. Add notes explaining the adjustment
- 7. Save adjustment
⚠️ Important: All stock adjustments are logged and can be reviewed in the adjustment history.
