Getting Started with Booba
Welcome to Booba! This guide will help you set up your account and start managing your business in just a few minutes.
Create Your Account
Sign up for Booba and verify your email address
Visit the registration page and enter your business email
Create a secure password
Verify your email address by clicking the link sent to your inbox
Complete your business profile with basic information
Set Up Your Business
Configure your business details and preferences
Enter your business name and contact information
Select your industry type (Electronics, Retail, Fashion, etc.)
Choose your currency (NGN)
Set your business address and tax information
Upload your business logo (optional)
Add Your First Products
Build your product catalog
Navigate to Products → All Products
Click "Add Product" button
Enter product name, SKU, and price
Set initial stock quantity
Add product description and image (optional)
Save the product
Process Your First Sale
Learn how to use the Point of Sale system
Go to Sales → Point of Sale
Add products to the cart by searching or scanning barcodes
Select payment method (Cash, Card, Transfer, etc.)
Complete the transaction
Print or email the receipt
Explore the Dashboard
Understand your business overview
View your sales summary and key metrics
Check recent transactions
Monitor inventory levels
Review payment breakdowns
Use date filters to analyze different periods
Add Team Members
Invite staff and set permissions
Go to Settings → Users
Click "Invite User"
Enter email address and select role
User will receive an invitation email
They can set their password and start using the system

- •Sidebar Navigation: Use the left sidebar to access all features. Click on any menu item to navigate.
- •Search: Use the search bar at the top to quickly find products, customers, or transactions.
- •Keyboard Shortcuts: Press Ctrl+K to open the command palette.
- •Help: Click the help icon (?) in the top right corner for context-sensitive help.
